The flight to Andros Island is a quick one hour trip from Fort Lauderdale and as soon as you land on the island, you are just minutes from enjoying the incredible experience that Coakley House will provide to you and your guests.

While Andros Island is set aside from the major tourist areas of the Bahamas, which is a major fact that adds to the islands charm and makes this spectacular place so unique to the vacationer that wants a different Bahamian adventure, it is also still close enough to explore and experience highly commercialized areas like Nassau, Paradise Island, and Atlantis .

Coakley House itself is located only four, short miles from the Andros Town (ASD) airport and Continental Airlines offers flights on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays from Fort Lauderdale (FLL) that arrive directly into Fresh Creek.

If you happen to be bringing more than five people to your vacation at Coakley House, we suggest making your retreat even more exciting and use a private charter to get to the island. Through personal experience, we feel that you are able to get special attention and reduce the cost of transportation to your group, as the cost per person to rent a charter is typically less than flying commercial. In addition, this keeps your trip flexible and friendly to your needs, as you can pick and choose when you want to arrive and when you want to leave.
